The small cart is positioned on the tension beams by pins; pipe clamping brackets whose number may increase or decrease are also positioned on the tension beams by pins. During the pressure testing process, pipe clamping brackets tightly hold steel pipe, front-end and rear-end sealing heads eject and trap the two ends of the pipe respectively. When using the large-gap seal ring, first it needs to be pressurized for clasping the pipe firmly, and then water is fed into the pipe and pressurized. If using the U-type seal ring, after the pipe is trapped in, water can be directly fed into the pipe and pressurized. The ejection and positioning of rear-end sealing head is controlled by the hydraulic servo system, it can be positioned at any location within the stroke range of the cylinder, and it is suitable for pressure testing of steel pipes with different lengths. The entire process of pressure testing is controlled by a computer system. Pressure curves and related data are automatically recorded in a database for further analysis.
